Vladimir Kumov, Leader of the Russian urban cycling advocacy project Let's bike it!,
advisor to the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation (2015-2020).

After graduation he took up several managing posts in journalism and PR. In 2010 he founded the Russian urban cycling advocacy project Let’s bike it! The main goal of the project is to promote bicycle as a mean of transportation as well as to create and to improve a reliable bicycle infrastructure in Russian cities. He initiated and co-organized Moscow Bicycle Parade, National Bike to Work Day, Moscow International Cycling Congress and several other events. In 2012−2014 he produced Bicycle Film Festival in Moscow — an international film festival about bicycles. In September 2015 he got an appointment of the advisor of the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation on a voluntary basis.
